My workflow and workspace

I don't want to say much, just show you some pictures of my work process and a piece of my craft room :)

Before starting work, I prepared and laid out all the components in the right quantity.

I am working with the resin "Crystal Resin", which is very sticky, so I have to wear latex gloves.

  

The resin must be mixed in precise proportions and I use syringes for that.

It's just part of the process, I couldn't to photograph everything, as the decision to write about this was spontaneous :)

And that's part of my room where I live and work.

New cat brooches

We all probably know someone who loves cats besides ourselves. When buying gifts, cat pins are light to ship and many times inexpensive.

Each brooch is handmade with mod colors and unique patterns.

Publication in Summer 2012 issue of Belle Armoire Jewelry

Few months ago I got an e-mail from Cynthia Levens, editor of Belle Armoire Jewelery Magazine. She found my Etsy shop and liked my leather earrings and "watercolor earrings". She wanted to feature them in one of the upcoming issues.
I was so excited! 

If you're not familiar with this magazine, it's published by Stampington & Company. They publish more than 40 wonderful inspirational craft magazines and other publications that spot trends and highlight new designers making original and noteworthy jewelry, clothing, accessories and other creation.

My photos from Tanya (ArsiArt)

Last week my friend Tanya came to visit me in Kiev. Tanya has a shop on Etsy - ArsiArt and we are in the one team in which we are acquainted with each other. 

She arrived with a camera, so I got some good photos at parting.

It was great to meet in person and talk about life and our Etsy.

Antique Postcard Album

A few weeks ago I went to visit my grandparents. They live in a village near the city. They have a small house and large garden plot where they work.

I love to visit my grandparents because I always can find something unusual in their house that I can take a picture. And every time I come to the village to my parents, I feel like a little princess fingering treasures :)

The last time I found the album for postcards dating from the 57th year.
